Today, the 1st graders went to Pomeroy Farm. It is a historical living farm, and teaches the kids about how things were done on farms back in the 1920s when this one was going strong. They got to learn about animals, baling hay, working in and around the house, etc. Jake said his favorite part was getting to pet a baby cow. This was the first field trip I have been able to go on with Jakey, so it was lots of fun hanging out with him.
